Whether you're dealing with postpartum concerns or simply looking to enhance your sexual wellness, this workshop offers practical advice on exercises, communication strategies, and lifestyle changes that can make a difference. Our expert creates a safe and supportive environment for all moms, and provides you with the tools you need to optimize your pelvic health and sexual wellbeing. Who is this workshop for?

This workshop is for moms who want to become confident in their pelvic health and improve their sexual wellbeing.

What will you learn?

You will learn how changes in the pelvic floor during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum impact your sexual function. Specifically, this workshop covers the:

  • Anatomy and physiology of the pelvic floor as it relates to sexual function
  • Impact of pregnancy, birth and postpartum on your sexual function, including issues such as pain with sex, changes in orgasm quality, and pelvic organ prolapse
  • Lifestyle and behavior modifications to improve your sexual wellness
  • Techniques to improve awareness of your pelvic floor muscles (that surround your vagina) and perineum (your vulva)
  • Strategies to connect with yourself and communicate with your partner to improve your sexual wellbeing
  • Answers to your questions about the sex and the pelvic floor during pregnancy, birth and postpartum

What should you bring?

Wear comfortable clothes you can move in and bring a yoga mat (if you have one). Please consider having little ones stay at home, if possible. This way you can fully engage in the workshop and get the most benefit from the valuable information and activities we have planned. Give yourself the gift of undivided attention.

About your teacher:

Britt is a physiotherapist, researcher and mother. She has specialized in pelvic floor health the last 10 years- treating in the clinic, teaching at university and now developing relevant and fun meet-ups for women connect with each other and learn about pelvic floor wellness. Britt is passionate about empowering women, especially mothers, to thrive in their pelvic health today and for the future.
