What will you learn in MAMAs-2-B Pelvic Floor Foundations ?
In week 1, you will be introduced to the muscles of your pelvic floor and why your pelvic floor so important, especially in pregnancy and birth. In week 2, you will learn about your bladder, and methods to prevent leaking peeing and why sometimes it's difficult to make it to the bathroom in time. In week 3, you will understand more about pooping and how to make bowel movements easier. In week 4, you will gain insight into how sex and your pelvic floor work together and learn exercises and positions to reduce discomfort while pregnant. In our final week 5, you will practice exercises to help prepare your pelvic floor for birth and postpartum. You'll finish the course with the confidence of knowing how your pelvic floor works and being prepared for a better birth and postpartum journey.

In week 2, you will learn about your bladder, how birth may have changed the way your pelvic floor muscles control peeing and unwanted leaking and why sometimes it's difficult to make it to the bathroom in time. In week 3, you will understand more about pooping and how to make postpartum bowel movements easier. In week 4, you will gain insight into how sex and your pelvic floor work together after birth, and learn exercises and positions to reduce discomfort. In our final week 5, you will assess your 'core' and learn how to work towards strengthen safely and getting back to the activities you love. You'll finish the course with the confidence of knowing how your pelvic floor works and how to support your pelvic floor health during postpartum and beyond.
